Mr.
Sidique Abou-Bakarr Wai
The
President, CEO and National Spokesperson.
Mr.
Sidique Abu-Bakarr Wai is currently, Administrative Community Relations
Specialist for the New York City Police Department, with special
responsibilities in designing policy and programmatic initiatives for
NYPD to improve police/community relations throughout the 76 Police
precincts in New York City, serving 8.3 million New Yorkers.
Mr. Wai
was appointed by the Hon. Raymond Kelly, Police Commissioner for the
City of New York.
Mr. Wai
has continued to serve as an adviser to many African Heads of State,
Diplomats and leaders on the continent of Africa seeking to build and
promote meaningful and good relationships between their countries with
political, corporate, faith-based and credible grassroots leaders in the
United States and vice versa.
He was
appointed on September 9th, 2007 by Dr. Mohammed Nurhussein, the
National Chairman of the United African Congress to co-chair with the
Rev. Dr. Clyde Anderson, CEO and Executive Director of the City Society
and President of the Rainbow Push for the tri-state area to lead the
World-wide campaign for the creation of the United States of Africa the
campaign is committed to collecting 1 million signatures around the
world to petition the 53 African Nations within the African Union to
make
certain
that this unification becomes a reality once and for all."
Mr. Sidique Abu-Bakarr Wai hails from the Republic of Sierra Leone.
He is single with his daughter, Jamica
Hardwick-Wai.
